JANUARY 1, 2012: Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all that. Just in time for the new year, all 2011 trips and photos are finally up, and I'll get to work adding some recent Winter Break travels, notably the Aravaipa Wilderness (below) which was a fine walk. Also, many thanks for the great many views of my 'How to make a backpacking stove' article- A friend just noted that he came across it on the second page of a google search, almost on page 1! Check back soon for some new trips which will be posted in the 2011 section.
